1. Eligibility

Entries must be submitted by the deadline. Teams: two or more (however, only two team members will receive the prize). Only work created solely for the purpose of entering this competition is eligible. Entrants must use royalty-free or licensed music for all submissions (including presentation videos). The National Advertising Challenge is open to all those involved in advertising and communication - advertising agencies, production companies, advertisers, etc. All individuals involved in the creative process are eligible to enter. The student category is open to all those involved in a creative post-secondary program across Canada. Teams (or team members) may submit to more than one category.

Please note the student category is on pause for 2024.

2. About the Prize

  • BEST IN SHOW - $10,000***
  • GOLD - $5,000
  • SILVER - $2,500
  • BRONZE - $1,250
  • Student Category (Enrolled in any creative program across Canada) The team of winners of the student category will receive a 2-month internship at a Toronto advertising agency.** Please note the student category is on pause for 2024.

3. Before Entering

Read through the category descriptions and submission requirements before you begin.

4. Submit Your Entry

Log in using your user ID and password. Begin the submission process by clicking on the "submit entry" button. Select the category you would like to enter, and the number of submissions you would like to submit (you can enter as many categories as you like). Upload your entry media/digital files, making sure they conform to the requirements. Incomplete entries will not be accepted. *Cash prizes to be split amongst winning team members. 
**There is no consolation prize if the internship is not used for any circumstance.
***The best in show prize is awarded at the discretion of our jury. It will be given only if a submission meets the exceptional standards we aspire to recognize. Should a winner be awarded Best In Show, they will not receive the gold prize money as well.
